Job summary

A leading drilling solutions provider in Kintore is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their Workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a solid machining background, confidence in programming CNC mills and lathes, and the ability to work within tight tolerances. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and accurately completing all required documentation. A time served Machinist qualification or equivalent is essential for consideration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in programming with Fanuc controller is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including VTL to produce products that meet required specifications.
  • Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental and quality expectations whilst supporting a production schedule.
  • Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any non-conformities.

Job Summary

  • Experience of Horizonal Borer KBM 135 CL and Vertical Turning Centre Hankook VT8 250 E
  • Experience in programming with Fanuc controller is essential for this role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
