• Devise and implement therapy for individuals and small groups
• Manage a caseload of students, setting termly targets

• HCPC registered and a member of RCSLT

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of:

• Working independently within an educational setting
• Running assessments and producing detailed reports
• Delivering evidence‑based intervention plans for individuals and groups

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT accredited)
• HCPC registration
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND in educational settings
• Knowledge of evidence‑based interventions for SLCN and autism spectrum conditions
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

• Manage and prioritise a specialist caseload with support from the Clinical Lead
• Carry out assessments using both formal diagnostic tools and clinical observations
• Plan and deliver individual and group interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Evaluate outcomes and monitor progress through evidence‑based practice

Qualifications:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
• Minimum 2 years post‑registration experience (including paediatric caseload in a school setting)
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills

• Provide assessments of service users using standardised and non‑standardised tools

• Attend case discussions and EHCP reviews to advocate for the needs of children and families

Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Experience working within a paediatric setting
• Experience working with EHCPs and SLT provision in a school setting

• Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
• Specialist CPD and/or training
• Trauma‑Informed care experience
• Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs

• Assess children and develop/implement specialist speech and language therapy treatment to ensure that the Council achieves its strategic aims for all pupils
• Contribute to the LB Merton policy and approach to raising achievement and establishing provision for all pupils
• Provide a specialist speech and language therapy service to Merton schools and settings
• Work as a member of the Merton Speech and Language Therapy Service and SENDIS and so contribute to building the capacity of Merton Schools to include pupils with SEN and disabilities

Requirements:

• Experience of training and supporting TAs/LSAs in delivering SLCN programmes
• Qualified Therapist status

Requirements:

• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
• Experience of working as a Speech and Language therapist in a large multi‑disciplinary team across multiple sites
• Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice
• Evidence of continued Professional Development
