A healthcare provider in Leicester is seeking a committed Care Assistant. This role involves supporting residents' physical and emotional wellbeing under a Registered Nurse's guidance. You will engage in personal care activities, ensure dignity for residents, and recognize safeguarding issues. Please note that we have both partâtime and fullâtime hours available working 38.5 hours per week from 8am â 8pm or 8pm â 8am or 24.5 hours per week from 2.30pm â 10pm. Full flexibility is required.

Weâre looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, youâll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents. This includes personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, as well as helping with daily activities in the home.
Youâll deliver care that comes from the heart â making sure residents never lose their individuality. Whether youâre supporting someone with limited mobility, offering comfort to a resident who is distressed, or providing compassionate endâofâlife care, youâll always put their wellbeing first.
Safeguarding is everyoneâs responsibility in adult social care and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
