Maintenance Engineer
Job summary
A leading printing company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs in Hatfield. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and strong fault-finding experience. This full-time role offers a salary between £46,000 and £47,000, along with additional benefits. You will participate in a call-out rota and work on various building systems including HVAC. Candidates must have legal permission to work in the UK.

- Mechanical maintenance on a range of systems including AHUs, air conditioning, chillers and more
- Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs

- Participate in a 1 in 5 call‑out rota
- Work Monday to Friday double day shift (6‑2 / 2‑10)
- Mechanical maintenance engineer with a building services/facilities background (NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
- Strong fault‑finding experience on heating, hot water, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Good understanding of fire sprinklers, UPS, and emergency generator systems
- Ability to commute to Hatfield
