Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leeds
Hours: 12 Hour Shifts, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
Salary: Up to £49k + Benefits

HRGO Recruitment is exclusively seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer with robust maintenance experience for our client in the FMCG Manufacturing industry, located in the Leeds area. We are particularly interested in candidates who are multiskilled and have worked in fast paced industrial factory environments.

We invite applications from logical thinkers and collaborative team players who can help ensure the smooth operation of our client's dynamic production line. The ideal applicant will possess experience in FMCG or the Food & Beverage Manufacturing and Distribution sectors. We would also invite applications from Engineers who have just exited the Forces due to previous success.

Key Responsibilities of the Shift Maintenance Engineer:

  • Perform both scheduled and reactive maintenance on various electrical and mechanical equipment within an FMCG setting.
  • Troubleshoot and identify faults.
  • Diagnose and rectify machinery issues to reduce downtime and enhance production efficiency.
  • Work closely with the production team to promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise your technical knowledge to resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Follow health and safety regulations while maintaining high work standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical qualifications are desired (NVQ, HNC, 18th Edition or equivalent).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience with Extrusion would be beneficial.
