Mechanical/Service Engineer

Join H.A McEwen (Boiler Repairs) Ltd as a Mechanical/Service Engineer.

Our specialist engineering company is recruiting a Mechanical/Service Engineer with experience on industrial sites, ideally steam or industrial heating and process systems. The role involves maintaining industrial boiler plants, providing repairs, and supporting other boiler repair and installation projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boilers for annual inspections.
• Prepare components for NDT testing.
• Overhaul valves.
• Repair valve and pipework.

The role also includes boiler repair contracts, general fitting, boiler plant and pipework installations, and heritage‑related projects.

Requirements

• Based within travelling distance of our works near Keighley, West Yorkshire.
• Full clean UK driving licence preferred.
• Suitable for the role; character references will be essential.

Hours and Salary

Monday to Friday (45 hours basic). Weekend availability and overtime. Salary to be discussed depending on experience.
