Aibuild is seeking a hands‑on Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join our R&D team in East London, where you’ll be working at the cutting edge of Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) research.
In this role, you’ll work directly with industrial KUKA robots in our lab – operating them, running 3D prints, integrating end-effectors, performing calibration, maintaining system reliability, and troubleshooting hardware issues. You’ll also contribute to research and development work, running experimental builds and helping define new capabilities for our software platform to advance automated manufacturing.
This position suits a proactive engineer who enjoys experimentation, working with hardware, and operating in a fast‑paced R&D environment. If you thrive in a workshop, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want to help push the boundaries of additive manufacturing – we’d like to hear from you.
Please send your CV, cover letter, and a portfolio demonstrating relevant hands‑on hardware experience, problem‑solving ability, and any experience in additive manufacturing or robotics.
