PDI Technician - Leicester
Job summary
A leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in Leicester is seeking a PDI Technician to ensure vehicle inspections meet manufacturer standards. Candidates should have experience in technical roles within the HGV or associated sectors, along with a full UK driving license. Responsibilities
- Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.
- Work with the parts team to ensure correct parts are fitted.
- Confirm completion of PDI and RI sheets as per instructions.

- You will have previous experience working as a Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector.
- Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Or a time served Technician.
- Full UK driving licence.
Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with PDI standard times. Work with the parts team to make sure the correct parts are fitted to the vehicles. Confirm that PDI and RI sheets are completed as per manufacturer/customer instructions. Adhere to all relevant Type Approval regulations.
Week 1, Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Week 2, Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm.
