Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Technician / Mechanic.
• Ideally possess a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Time served Technicians also considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.
• Work with the parts team to ensure correct parts are fitted.
• Confirm completion of PDI and RI sheets as per instructions.

Skills

Experience as a Technician/Mechanic

HGV, Commercial Vehicle or associated sector knowledge

Full UK driving license

Education

Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Who are we looking for as a PDI Technician:

• You will have previous experience working as a Technician / Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector.
• Ideally have a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Or a time served Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.

The PDI Technician role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Ensure PDI’s and RI’s are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with PDI standard times. Work with the parts team to make sure the correct parts are fitted to the vehicles. Confirm that PDI and RI sheets are completed as per manufacturer/customer instructions. Adhere to all relevant Type Approval regulations.

Working hours:

Week 1, Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Week 2, Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm.
