Job summary
A leading engineering company in Northampton is seeking an Engineering Stores Operative to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will pick, pack, and issue engineering parts while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with health and safety standards. Strong attention to detail and previous experience in a warehouse environment are required. The position offers competitive pay, early finishes on Fridays, and training opportunities.

- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/WMS systems is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and issue engineering parts with precision.
- Verify part numbers, batch details and UID numbers for full traceability.
- Receive and store incoming materials correctly.
- Keep inventory accurate through stock checks and cycle counts.
- Record all material movements in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement and quality teams.
- Maintain health, safety and environmental standards.
