A leading utility company in Coventry is seeking a Graduate PMO Planner to coordinate projects and ensure compliance with PMO frameworks. This 27-month program includes comprehensive training and placements across departments, offering growth in project delivery and stakeholder engagement. Severn Trent is a FTSE 100 company and one of the only ones outside London to have an all-encompassing PMO department. Our Graduate PMO Planner Programme involves you to coordinate with programme managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Programme Planner will also be responsible for maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and providing regular updates.
Through working in PMO, you will gain great oversight of detailed project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.. The programme will enable you to develop your skills. The aim of the programme is;
Coordinate with programme managers and team members to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
You will be based at Sever Trent Headquarters in Coventry, the heart of our operating patch. The programme requires you to complete placements throughout your time in the role, gaining exposure in different areas of the department so that you are equipped with the right skills to build your career here at Severn Trent.
In this exciting programme, you will have the chance to discuss your development and career ambitions in your 1-1 meetings with business leads, mentors, the cohort leader, and the New Talent Team.
You will expand your knowledge in order to ensure the successful delivery of our projects by developing, managing and reporting on the SRO & Property Programme progress, focusing on risk, change, assurance and analysis on behalf of programme and project managers in order to meet overall requirements of the business.
You will be working closely with the Project Delivery, SRO Environmental and technical teams as well as our internal assurance and governance teams alongside our external consultants and contractors to ensure success project delivery. Providing clear and concise insight to our stakeholders to support in the decision‑making process for all projects.

Programme Duration: Typically 27 months
Entry Criteria: There are no specific degree disciplines needed.
Driving Requirements: You will be required to have a full UK driving licence along with access to your own vehicle upon starting this role.
