You will apply your technical expertise and follow global IT best practices to optimize and support our operations.You will serve as the go-to person for IT related issues, working both independently and collaboratively, and will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day IT operations as well as contributing to project execution.Our patient care clinics make up a vast network, spread across multiple countries.As an IT support specialist, you will join our journey in ensuring that IT infrastructure within one of Össur location functions both efficiently and reliably on a day-to-day basis for local/remote users and office environment.You'll be working from our office in Livingston, while being part of our global IT servicedesk team. You report remotely to the IT Service ManagerYour tasks:* Provide first-line support to users, both remotely and onsite.* Deploy and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.* Execute system installations, tests, and integrations.* Monitor and maintain system performance, reliability, and security.* Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.**Who are you*** Vocational or Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field of education (preferably in IT).* At least 1 year of experience as an IT support engineer or similar position* Service minded, ‘hands on’, dedicated to the IT part of the organization* Flexible and willing to work at multiple company locations* have the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment**What we offer**Our flat hierarchies, strong team spirit and a very collegial atmosphere reflect our Icelandic roots.
