Roke is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team working on software for products in the RF communication and sensors domain.
You will be responsible for the detailed design, implementation and testing of components of the product software, working with the agile team Product Owner and System Design Authority.
The role requires individuals who can work closely with an agile software team, applying their technical knowledge and domain experience, whilst communicating effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
There is a degree of flexibility as to the agile tasking within the agile software team, depending on your expertise, the role can flex to focus either on Modern UI design and implementation or Embedded software development.
For the right candidate with team leadership or line management experience, the role could also entail a line management component. This aspect would involve responsibility for the day‑to‑day support and guidance of his team, reporting on performance and helping with resourcing.
Individuals must be able to work effectively in a highly technically challenging but rewarding environment, able to quickly assess trade‑offs and lead on technical decision making.
