A leading UK contracting group is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to enhance security for their Microsoft 365 environment. The successful candidate will lead security initiatives, implement best practices, and ensure compliance. The role requires strong experience in cyber security tools, especially within cloud and Microsoft environments, along with exceptional communication and time-management skills. This position is based in Hoddesdon, with travel across sites and comes with competitive benefits.

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen the security posture of a VolkerWessels UK joint venture, with a sharp focus on Microsoft 365. You’ll be the go‑to security lead on the ground—making sure our M365 environment (including SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI and identity services) is secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving threats.
Working alongside the VolkerWessels UK Corporate Security Team, you’ll help implement and operate security controls, embed best practice, and ensure day‑to‑day operations meet group standards. This is a fast‑moving environment, so you’ll need to think pragmatically, act quickly, and deliver smart, secure solutions.
You’ll take ownership of secure configuration, monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement across identity, access, data protection, compliance, and collaboration tools.
