A leading multinational consumer goods company is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for Plastics Sustainability on a project-based contract. This role requires expertise in plastic packaging and waste management, with a passion for sustainability. Responsibilities include developing procurement strategies for sustainable plastics, leading complex projects, and representing the company in industry forums. Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive change.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or R&D, ideally with plastic sustainability.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for reporting/analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Own the external procurement strategy for plastics sustainability.
  • Translate sustainability ambitions into actionable roadmaps with KPIs.
  • Build and scale strategic partnerships across the plastics value chain.
  • Represent Unilever externally to advocate for industry-wide change.
