Generator Yard Engineer – Maintenance & On-Site Support
Job summary
A leading generator solutions provider in Cannock is looking for a dedicated technician to support the Depot Foreman in preparing, testing, and repairing generator sets. The role involves maintaining rental fleet generators, assisting in yard operations, and occasionally attending customer sites. Candidates should possess relevant mechanical qualifications and hold a full driving licence. - Relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Diesel Fitting/Plant.
- Experience and knowledge of generators or large diesel engines.
- Full Driving Licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Support the Depot Foreman in preparation, testing, and repair of generator sets.
- Responsible for service and maintenance of generators for rental fleet.
- Provide general assistance in the yard including loading and offloading equipment.
- Drive forklift as required.
