Job summary

A leading global provider of healthcare solutions is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Wythenshawe, UK. In this role, you will maintain and repair all plant machinery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Ideal candidates will be apprentice-trained engineers with at least 2 years of experience in Facilities or Manufacturing, with strong mechanical or electrical qualifications. The role entails working nights, Monday to Friday with an on-call rota, contributing to the sterile processing team, and participating in staff development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical fields is necessary.
• Full UK Driving license with a maximum of 3 points.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all plant and machines to provide service.
• Oversee work of contract and service engineers.
• Perform weekly tests on sterilizers/washers.
• Ensure machinery is serviced before quarterly and annual validation.
• Maintain spare parts and tools store.
