Job summary
A well-established accounting practice in York is seeking an experienced Client Manager to oversee client portfolios and meet compliance deadlines. The ideal candidate will have UK practice experience, excellent technical skills, and preferably an ACCA or ACA qualification. The position offers hybrid working, an annual bonus, and opportunities for professional development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with a well-established practice that's highly regarded all across Yorkshire. They're seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their friendly and long standing team in York to come on board as a Client Manager.

- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
- Prepare annual accounts and tax computations for more complex assignments
- Review and gather personal tax return information
- Hold client meetings to discuss financial statements, tax positions and planning opportunities
- Allocate work to colleagues and provide guidance, support and feedback
- Review work for accuracy, presentation and adherence to internal procedures
- Identify opportunities to enhance client service or introduce additional services
- UK Practice Experience is essential
- Ideally needs to be qualified (ACCA/ACA) however QBE candidates will be considered
- Excellent technical skills with good knowledge of accounting principles
- Confident managing client relationships and handling queries
- Positive, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
