Job summary
A community-focused organization in Sunderland is seeking an Engagement Officer to engage with local communities, design and evaluate engagement activities, and present user-friendly reports. The successful candidate will have a passion for community work, a full driving licence, and a willingness to work flexible hours. This role is vital for ensuring local voices are heard in health and social care improvements.
Qualifications
- Passion for making a difference and capturing the voice of local people in Sunderland.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Willingness to work outside office hours on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Engage with a wide range of communities of interest.
- Design, deliver and evaluate a range of community-based engagement activities.
- Develop effective and positive working relationships with organisations and networks within the voluntary and community sector.
- Gather, analyse and present the views of local people in user‑friendly reports.
- Collaborate with local health and care providers.
