About Us

Egis is a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm. We work hand-in-hand with our clients across every aspect of transport, energy and the built environment to build a more balanced, sustainable and resilient world. We hold 50+ years of experience and have a worldwide workforce of over 19,500 people.

As industry leaders we hold ourselves responsible for today’s biggest challenges; fighting climate change, the digital transition and meeting the needs of growing populations. We do this by designing smart, green infrastructure, transport and buildings, creating a sustainable future for communities everywhere. Joining our group means, above all, sharing our values as a people first company, strongly committed to sustainability and innovation.

Egis Aviation UK, previously trading as Helios, are a subsidiary of the Egis Group with Aviation offices in Farnborough, Dubai, Slovakia, Brussels, Paris, Toulouse, and Hong Kong, as well as clients all over the world.. We work for major airports, air navigation service providers, industry and governments improving the efficiency and safety of operations and conducting policy and strategy analysis.

About the Role

Navigating the complexities of the highly regulated, globally networked and safety-critical aviation industry is no small feat. Yet, with a proven track record of over 4,000 successful projects spanning across 100+ countries, our team stands out.

We're looking for individuals with a range of expertise, experience and interest in the aviation industry to join our team and contribute to fulfilling our expanding order book. In particular, individuals with a strong economics or numerical background and are keen to learn more about the aviation related political and regulatory context.

Our organisation can be very fast-paced. If you are attracted to large, process-driven organisations then we’re probably not for you (unless of course you are ready to escape from one!) However, if being creative, flexible, dynamic and proactive is more your style, then we want to hear from you!

We have a flat collegiate structure and work in small project teams where our philosophy is to encourage you to manage your own career and time. You’ll have far more autonomy than our competitors offer and in return we ask that you deliver amazing work and ensure that our clients keep coming back to us (currently 80% of our work is repeat business!)

In return we offer competitive salaries and a range of benefits including discretionary bonus, pension, private healthcare, life insurance, in house training, a great work/life balance and opportunities to travel.

What do we need from you

  • Degree qualified, preferably economics, numerate or business subject related or have previous experience in aviation disciplines.
  • Prior experience or a keen interest in working within aviation, particularly strategic projects.
  • Familiarity or prior experience working in a Management Consulting background.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent data analysis skills in practice, as well as thrive on problem solving and the application of your excellent critical thinking skills.
  • The consultancy environment can be very fast-paced with opportunities emerging at very short notice that will require a flexible, agile approach to delivering excellence in consultancy services and meeting or exceeding client requirements.
What's in it for you?

To apply, please provide your CV and a Cover Letter expressing your interest and suitability for a role in Aviation Management Consulting.

We are committed to our planet

In each project we design, engineer and operate we care deeply about the legacy we’re leaving behind. As part of our team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to use your skills and expertise to shape a better future for our communities in the UK, and all around the globe.

Our commitment is translated in the work carried out by our Egis Foundation, which funds concrete actions to address the climate crisis and is focused on educational and social initiatives that will help in the responsible and sustainable shift towards a sustainable world.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

We are an Equal Opportunities employer, and we strive to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we represent. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, regardless of age, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and any other protected characteristic. If you decide to apply for an opportunity with us, your application will be assessed based purely on your experience, the essential and desirable criteria, and your suitability for the role. We value each and every one’s contribution as this builds our culture and means that if you work with us, you will be included, listened to, and respected.
