Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.A Team Leader within the Maintenance (Technical Services) as a Team Leader you will lead a team responsible for the site facilities and infrastructure including capital projects, maintenance, utilities and environmental management.**What You Will Do:*** Lead safety risk assessments.* Take breakdown report calls and allocate jobs across the team.* Monitor preventative maintenance performance.* Identify opportunities for predictive maintenance.* Assist and stand-in for the Production Manager.* Route cause analysis on any issues raised within your area of responsibility.* Ensure all relevant information is communicated to appropriate departments/personnel.* Hold daily start of shift meetings.* Coach team members.* Culture - reinforce Caterpillar's Values in Action.* Participate in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIW's).* Respond to unforeseen quality, staffing, safety and production matters, liaise with Section Manager with an immediate corrective action plan.* Adhere to the Company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.* Undertake training and further learning as required.* Report all Health and Safety incidences in line with the company guidelines.**About You:*** An apprentice trained craftsman with experience in an industrial maintenance environment.* As a team member the ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed objectives.* A self motivated individual, with the flexibility to deal with individual and team behaviours, you should be able to motivate others with your advice and experience.* Initiative and strong communication, interpersonal & organisational skills.* Identify with the belief in the value of continuous improvement & team-based culture.* Willing to undertake training and further learning.* Willing to work a multi-shift pattern.**Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:*** A current accredited Fork Lift Truck and MEWP licence would be an advantage.* Previous supervisory experience is preferred.**Pending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.****Job Title**: Maintenance Team Leader (Nights)**Salary:** £40,500 rising when role triggers are met to £44,990**Contract:** Permanent**Benefits:** 27 days annual leave + bank holidays, Production Bonus, Share Scheme (50% Company Matched), Contributory Pension Scheme (Contribution double by Company up to 10%), Free Car Parking, Caterpillar Advantage website**Location:** Desford, Leicestershire**Hours:** Full Time – 37.50**Travel:** Not required**NB.
