Job summary
A leading financial technology company in the City of London is seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant. This role involves understanding customer needs, developing pitches, performing technical tasks, and collaborating cross-functionally. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in financial markets, knowledge of fixed-income assets, and skills in programming languages. Qualifications
- Significant industry experience in financial markets from a trading, risk or quantitative perspective.
- Sound knowledge of the fixed-income asset class, including derivatives.
- Hands-on skills in a programming/scripting language such as SQL, Python, C#.
- Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to summarise information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs through direct contact and analysis of trade data.
- Develop customer pitches and run Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Perform technical tasks such as system configuration and troubleshooting implementation issues.
- Write custom metrics/reports using scripting language.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and engineering teams.
