Job summary

A well-established business in the UK is looking for a Customer Account Manager to grow their customer base by maintaining regular contact and increasing sales within existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service or B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems. This is an office-based role in Yeovil, working Monday to Friday, offering a salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, account management or B2B sales.
• Confident communicator, both on the phone and by email.
• Good IT skills, ideally including Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a set group of customers and build regular contact.
• Grow sales within your accounts by increasing order values.
• Handle day-to-day customer enquiries and provide accurate information.
• Prepare and follow up on customer quotes to confirm orders.
• Process and manage orders accurately within the system.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Review customer spend, spot trends, and create account plans.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP systems.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing.
• Support marketing campaigns to convert leads into business.
