Hours: Full time – 37 hours per week

Location: West Moors Training Centre – this role is office based with some limited opportunities to work from home. There is also a requirement for travel across Dorset and Wiltshire as required.

• Conduct interviews with relevant parties, including witnesses and suspects, to capture evidence and/or intelligence.
• Attend court to present evidence as the Investigating Officer and liaise with our legal team and court services.
• Complete investigation tasks as allocated by the Prosecution Manager in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review and analyse data in various formats to support investigations and retain such material appropriately.

• You will be able to meet all essential criteria as detailed on the person specification.
• You will have knowledge and experience of completing investigations and presenting evidence at court.
• You will have a good working knowledge of investigatory legislation including Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996.
• You will have experience in working with external stakeholders and diverse teams, particularly within challenging situations and have the ability to manage conflict effectively.
• You will have experience of using Microsoft products including Teams, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and Excel.

• You must have a full current driving licence and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role. Use of your own vehicle will be required; however, a Service vehicle may be available. Please note Service vehicles are manual transmission only. • A Standard Disclosure & Barring Service Check (DBS) clearance will be undertaken on the successful individual prior to offer of employment.
