The CNC Miller will be responsible for the operation of CNC machinery, mainly a DMG 180 5‑axis machine with a Siemens Shop Mill control. The role also includes self‑inspection of finished goods to ensure process control is maintained and compliance with all health and safety guidelines within the shop floor environment.

• Operate and program CNC machinery, including the 5 Axis DMG 180 Siemens Shop Mill control.
• Set and machine components using personal initiative.
• Perform quality assurance inspection of parts according to drawings.
• Maintain efficiency records of equipment.
• Perform safety and housekeeping tasks.
• Perform all machine safety start‑up duties.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.

• Strong numeracy/mathematical skills are essential.
• Mechanical skills.
• Capability to operate CNC milling machines and manual machinery, including jib cranes.

• Time served Machinist apprenticeship.
• Machining experience in a manufacturing setting.

Programming Experience Required.

Experience on CNC mills machines essential.
