Technical Director - Ecology role at Arcadis. The Ecology team is a group of 60+ ecologists with extensive experience in ecological surveys, assessments, and related advisory services across soil, land use, hydrology, sustainable drainage, arboriculture, biodiversity, natural capital, and cultural heritage.
This role is accountable for quality control, coordination, and completion of ecological projects across a diverse client base, coaching and leading the team, and managing client relationships to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to QHSE standards. The role can be based anywhere in the UK.
As part of our continuous growth our Ecology team is looking to recruit a Technical Director. The team has 30+ years of experience and has undertaken over 2,000 projects across the UK, Europe and beyond for public and private clients. You will be accountable for the quality control, coordination, and completion of ecological projects across our diverse client base; you will lead and coach the team to ensure engagement on challenging projects that support professional development. You will manage client relationships so that delivery exceeds client expectations and you will lead by example. This role includes responsibility for delivering projects to time, budgetary and QHSE targets and providing guidance on ecological issues within your area of expertise and more broadly.
