A leading environmental consultancy in Penrith is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist. In this role, you'll support major highways projects, leading environmental assessments and collaborating with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Ecology and a robust understanding of UK environmental legislation. The position offers a salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per year, remote working options, and other benefits.
Due to the rapid and exciting growth of our internal environmental consultancy services, we're looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to joinour team. In thisrole, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering a diverse range of projects across the UK, spanning the road, rail, water, and property sectors. A full driving licence is essential for this role.

Location: Penrith, Cumbria – travel to sites and offices required, with remote working available
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

As Senior Environmental Specialist, you'll be supporting on major highways projects in the north, providing services on a range of exciting projects, predominantly A66 NTP and M6 Lune Gorge as well as a wider portfolio of projects, you will be directly supporting the Environmental Leads on the Major Projects and work with the wider Kier Design Environmental team.
