Job summary
A leading food manufacturing company in Leicestershire seeks a Maintenance Engineer. You will perform reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and work towards continuous improvement. Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification, preferably with electrical bias and experience in food manufacturing. - Minimum of level 3 maintenance engineer (electrical bias) C&G NVQ or BTEC.
- Understanding of SCADA control systems; PLC fault finding would be an advantage.
- Multiskilled with an electrical bias.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and PPMs.
- Using both electrical and mechanical skill sets.
- Diagnosing faults to find root causes of breakdowns.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects on site.
- Working with the production team to minimise downtime.
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
