A leading logistics provider is seeking a Transport Manager in Thurrock to oversee fuel delivery operations in the Southeast region. The role requires strong leadership skills, with responsibilities including optimizing productivity, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing driver performance. Candidates should have experience in transport management, especially in the fuel distribution industry, alongside excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. As part of our continued growth and expansion, we’re looking for a talented Transport Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis as part of our fuels contract!
This role will cover the Southeast Region (Thurrock, West London and Crick). You will be expected to visit sites within your region at least once per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the plan set by the General Manager, within their region. This includes ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations, optimizing productivity, and engaging and managing driver performance. The role is site based with a focus on regular direct, in person interaction with drivers across the region.
We’re looking to pay up to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.
