Job summary

A global technology organisation is seeking a Financial Controller to manage financial operations and reporting for two business units. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing compliance and audit requirements, and providing analysis to support strategic decision-making. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, relevant professional qualifications, and experience with SAP. This position is based just outside of central London.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ experience in a controlling role within a multinational environment.
  • At least two years’ management experience in accounting and financial controlling.
  • Familiarity with UK GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations for both business units.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Group reporting.
  • Maintain complete alignment between local accounting systems and Group reporting tools.
  • Ensure strict monthly balance sheet reconciliations with zero tolerance for unreconciled accounts.
  • Manage statutory and audit requirements, liaising with auditors and advisors.
