Ready to take the next step in your finance career? This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented accountant looking to make their first move into a Financial Controller role.

Joining a busy, PE-backed multi-site retail business, you'll be stepping into a high-performing finance team where you'll be supported and developed, while also being given the freedom to make an impact. This isn't a back-office role, we're looking for someone who will work with the business, getting out to sites, understanding the numbers on the ground, and helping drive performance.

The Role

• Take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and compliance.
• Partner with site managers and operational teams to get under the skin of the numbers spotting trends, identifying opportunities, and adding commercial value.
• Lead on month-end, forecasting, and budgeting, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure clear financial visibility.
• Support PE investors with insightful analysis and financial reporting.
• Work alongside and learn from an experienced, high-performing team, with plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.

Who We are Looking For

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) ready to step up into their first Financial Controller role.
• A natural business partner, competent in translating financial insights into commercial decisions.
• Hands‑on and keen to get involved across the business, rather than just sitting behind a desk.
• Experience in a busy, multi‑site environment retail, hospitality, or similar would be ideal.
