Director, IYF Accreditation Center (NAC)
Provide strategic oversight of the center including accreditation services and programme management. Participate in oversight of the overall accreditation process and represent, promote, and uphold the mission of “Empowering youth for a better world” across IYF interventions in member countries.
Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates departmental activities related to the international accreditation process.
- Manages and supports accreditation staff in applications, worksheets, systems, accreditation manual, and training.
- Oversees portal data to support data analysis and reporting.
- Develops proofs of compliance, policy drafts, documentation, and reports.
- Recommends changes in policies and procedures in response to accreditation updates.
- Oversees engagement with accredited NGOs through NAC programmes, activities, and initiatives in collaboration with Regional Administrations.
- Supports accreditation of organizations/associations, assisting in connecting youth organizations with IYF registration.
- Maintains active communication with accredited IYF organizations at different levels.
- Shares organizations' achievements, success stories, and youth progress to the Department of Public Information.
- Provides an annual report on NAC activities, statistics, and accredited organizations.
- Develops and conducts training on accreditation and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Three years of experience in administrative, human resources, youth empowerment, training, knowledge management, development, communications, international relations, capacity building, sport, women empowerment, public administration, public affairs, political science, economics, social science, business administration, law, development studies, or related field.
- Experience in managing accreditation processes and staff training.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with regional and international stakeholders.
