This fixed‑term post covers a maternity leave period within the Rheumatology Department at Prince Charles Hospital. The successful candidate will be based in Prince Charles Hospital with outpatient duties at at least one other site within CTMUHB. The post holder will be expected to help develop Rheumatology services provided by the Health Board in Prince Charles Hospital and across CTMUHB, as part of a wider integrated team. The role involves participating in outpatient management of rheumatology patients, providing support and advice for inpatients as needed, developing and strengthening the Rheumatology service, supervising junior doctors, offering clinical leadership, educating medical and nursing staff, engaging with primary care colleagues to optimise referrals, and committing to personal development and ongoing professional development.
