Candidates will provide financial support, ensure projects are delivered on budget, and assist in the management of contracts. The role offers opportunities for career development into Project or Senior Surveyor positions. Strong financial awareness and a relevant degree are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement and re-measurement.
  • Strong financial and cost control awareness.
  • A good understanding of contract law.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Valid CSCS card and driving licence.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in valuing, certifying, and issuing payment notices for subcontract works.
  • Ensure external valuations are submitted accurately and payments are received on time.
  • Prepare and update Cost Value Comparison reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supply chain, consultants, and clients.
  • Support senior commercial staff in achieving budgeted financial targets.
  • Work closely with project teams for cost control and contract administration.

Skills

Procurement experience
Financial and cost control awareness
Understanding of contract law
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
Valid CSCS card
Driving license

Education

Degree in a construction-related discipline
