Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule workflows for each department based on demands.
- Provide agency labour forecasts based on supply chain requirements.
- Attend cross-department stock meetings and collaborate on shift planning.
- Work with Production Managers to manage shifts and schedules.
- Optimise production runs to minimise waste and downtime.
- Investigate and reduce rework in production.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for inspections and maintenance scheduling.
- Report on order profiles and production forecasts during meetings.

- Plan and schedule workflows for each department based on demands and lead times.
- Provide agency labour forecasts based on supply chain requirements and staff availability.
- Attend daily cross-department and multi-site stock meetings, collaborate on shift planning with ops, technical, engineering, hygiene, procurement, and supply chain teams.
- Work closely with Production Managers to manage holidays, rota schedules, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
- Optimise production runs to minimise waste, changeovers and downtime.
- Investigate and reduce rework in collaboration with the production and despatch team.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to schedule line availability for inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Attend daily site meetings and report on order profiles, daily and night shifts, and production forecasts.
- Use ERP systems to manage planning and generate reports.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in planning tools and systems (e.g., NAV, scheduling software).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
