You an established Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? If so, we want you to join our Building Services team in London!

Based in our office a stone’s throw from Borough Market in the heart of Southwark’s thriving Bankside, our welcoming and diverse team are working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in the UK and across the world. From sustainability-focused offices and commercial premises to cutting-edge healthcare facilities and from award‑winning retail developments to major new residential communities, you’ll have the opportunity to play a major role in delivering schemes across a huge range of sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and deputise for the Regional Director in leading, managing, and taking responsibility for the technical and commercial performance of designated projects.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practice and new developments in your own area of technical expertise.
  • Develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and participate in industry events (seminars, conferences, etc.).
  • Contribute to the management of all technical and commercial aspects of commissions.
  • Set and maintain technical standards.
  • Review and approve work prepared by others.
  • Comply with all safety and IMS procedures and ensure that staff do likewise.
  • Assist in planning and managing an appropriate resource to deliver projects.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Chartered Engineer in a relevant discipline, or an Engineer with lower qualifications but a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
  • Good commercial awareness and judgement.
  • Drive and self‑motivation to continuously develop your skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge in analysing problems and creating solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff by example.
  • Reliability and a responsible attitude toward work.
