The Spa at Turnberry is ready to receive applications from exceptional individuals looking to start their career in Spa Therapy and join our legendary team. The Spa Apprenticeship is an apprenticeship programme aimed to inspire, nurture and develop the next generation of highly skilled talent for the Spa at Turnberry. The apprenticeship offers the opportunity to study professional Spa treatments and allows you to develop the key skills to achieve an internationally recognised CIBTAC qualification in Level 3 Massage and Level 2 Facials. Apprentices will be offered a full time permanent position on a competitive salary (at least National Living Wage).

The programme is delivered in a mixed format of onsite and offsite training. Initially, the apprentice will have 5 days offsite to introduce each programme then weekly check‑ins with the trainer followed by an assessment. Any offsite travel will be at the company's expense.

Additional units available as ongoing training and development, which will be discussed and agreed with the apprentice as part of their programme. Units include (but are not limited) to:

• Deep Tissue Massage
• Change of Life Massage
• Reflexology

Incorporated within the apprenticeship is training on the below:

• Meet & greet clients
• Consultation
• How to prepare beds and trolleys
• Product placement
• Treatment advice
• Retail recommendations
• Rebooking
• Aftercare advice
• Uniform and general appearance
• Confidence tips
• Importance and roles of Reception
• Importance and roles of Pool associates
• Therapist mental health & self care
• Posture advice
• Basic Social Media skills

• Must be eligible to work within the UK.
• Must have strong English communication skills - both written and spoken.
• Must be passionate about providing excellent customer service to all.
• Keen interest in the Beauty industry, eager to learn new skills and keep up with upcoming beauty industry trends.
• Warm, friendly and confident personality with a desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Focused, driven and professional in every sense.
• Excellent personal management and time‑keeping skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• A team player, contributing positively to team performance.
