A leading legal practice in Caerphilly is seeking a Solicitor to join their expanding Private Client Department. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and will focus on business development, client care, and managing a significant case load. Responsibilities include drafting Wills, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, and overseeing probate. The firm offers an above-market salary and flexible working arrangements, emphasizing genuine career progression. This is a full-time, permanent position.

CJCH Solicitors is a thriving, award-winning legal practice with offices in Caerphilly, Blackwood, Barry, Cardiff, Bridgend, and Swansea. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join our growing Private Client Department.
The successful applicant will be able to focus on business development and grow the department as well as being an excellent Private Client practitioner.
- Salary: above market rate, and dependant on experience

- Permanent position within our Private Client Department
- The ideal candidate would be able to work on a large case load with minimal supervision and have experience in:
- Taking Will instructions and drafting Wills
- Taking instructions for and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
- All aspects of probate and estate administration
- It is essential the applicant has a can-do outlook, a desire to learn, and ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent client care and communication skills are essential, and should be familiar with case management systems.
- A Commercial approach to billing, time-recording and work in progress reporting.
- Bring ideas to expand and grow the department within our Caerphilly office.
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Private Client solicitor.
- Full UK Driving License
