Job summary

A regional NHS Trust is seeking a Community Nurse to join its North Cumbria Crisis Team. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care at home, working together in a multidisciplinary team offering 24/7 support as an alternative to hospital admission. Ideal candidates should have experience in mental health settings and a commitment to supporting individuals in crisis. The positions are available at Carelton Clinic in Carlisle and Lillyhall in Workington, with options for both full-time and part-time work.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with service users and carers in successful delivery of treatment plans.
  • Complete preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses.
  • Proven ability to develop therapeutic partnership with service users and carers.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team under the crisis model offering a 24/7 service.
  • Deliver high quality care for patients at home.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teamwork for treatment plans.
