Qualifications

  • Demonstrates understanding of anxiety and depression in Primary Care.
  • Knowledge of medication for anxiety and common mental health problems.
  • Ability to manage own caseload and time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide screenings and Low intensity PWP interventions.
  • Work with a range of common mental health problems in primary care.
  • Participate in 1:1 and group work addressing client needs.

Skills

Advanced communication skills
Ability to work within a team
Fluent in languages other than English
Ability to write clear reports and letters
High level of enthusiasm and motivation

Education

Postgraduate diploma in low intensity therapy
Registration with BABCP / BPS as a PWP
Psychology or other health related undergraduate degree
Training in nursing, social work, or counselling
