Reactor Island Holistic Layout Manager page is loaded## Reactor Island Holistic Layout Managerlocations: Derby, UKtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: JR100486**Role: Manager- Reactor Island Holistic Layout****Locations: Derby, Warrington or Manchester, with hybrid working options available****Salary: We anticipate paying a salary of between £57,600 - £75,600 DOE**The role is suited to a degree qualified mechanical engineer (or equivalent) with experience who will be support the design and delivery of the Rolls-Royce SMR Reactor Island Layout.The Reactor Island Integration Team is accountable for designing the physical layout of RR SMR Reactor Island and ensuring the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing installation is integrated with the modular build philosophy.Reporting to the Senior Manager – Reactor Island Layout & Installations, the key responsibilities of the Manager – Reactor Island Holistic Layout include: • Delivery of the integrated, island-level layout design, leading a team of Layout and Installation/Assembly Engineers. • Delivery of RI Layout and Installations-specific process improvements, tooling capability, and product configuration. • Represent RI Holistic Layout as a panel member for interfacing teams’ design reviews. • Recruit and manage resource within their team to drive delivery and best utilise individual’s strengths. • Lead, support and develop individuals within their team – support personal development plans and identification of suitable training. • Provide guidance and coaching to their team on both technical and governance related matters.Salary and Package:* We anticipate paying a salary of between **£57,600 - £75,600** DOE* Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%* Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package* Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.* Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.* Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care* Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay* £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchasesYou’ll be joining a forward-thinking organisation that values transparency, fairness, and innovation.
