Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

The Role:

As Accounts Payable Clerk, reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be one of the first points of call for any queries or calls relating to the accounts payable function. This role requires lateral thinking, good organisation skills and a strong background in a payable environment. You will need the ability to sustain clear communication across the board, with high attention to detail.

Who we are looking for:
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a busy accounts payable environment with a strong performance record. Working at pace whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail comes naturally for you.
  • Proven ability to allocate supplier payments to invoices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with a particular focus on Excel.
  • Prior experience dealing with employee expenses or company cards would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You are able to build strong cross department relationships across the manor at all levels.
  • Prior experience on cloud based, automated document management software.

The on target earning potential for this role is £34,000-£36,000 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £31,000-£33,000 per annum, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge.

About gratuities & service charge:
  • Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
  • It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £3,000 in addition to their annual salary.

Please note: this role requires a full time office presence at our Oxfordshire office.
