A leading education catering company is seeking a Cook Manager for a position based at Castledon School in Wickford. The role involves managing a kitchen team, preparing meals for around 130 students, and liaising with clients to ensure quality service. Ideal candidates should have strong cooking and management skills, preferably with experience in a Special Educational Needs environment. The position offers a daytime schedule, weekends off, and various career development opportunities.

We’reopen to people with great cooking and people management skills.You will be an experienced Cook/Chef Manager, used to cooking using fresh seasonal ingredients for around 130 covers, managing your kitchen and liaising directly with onsite clients. The site is a SEN (Special Educational Needs) School- any exposure or experience in this area would be beneficial.
As manager you will head up the team, making sure service runs smoothly and that all due diligence is adhered to.
