Job Title: Personal Care Assistant DP/ER15
Agency: Warrington Disability Partnership
Location: Lymm area, Warrington, Cheshire
Salary/Rate: £13.60 per hour

This position is advertised in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1 Occupational Requirements.

Overview

We are looking for one female Personal Assistant to support a 16‑year‑old teenage girl with a rare genetic mutation called HNRNPH2. The role can be either eight hours per week in a weekly session or eight hours per alternate Saturday (two assistants). The primary responsibilities include assisting her at home and facilitating access to social and leisure activities within the community.

Responsibilities
  • Support in learning independent living skills
  • Assist with personal care tasks: showering, toileting, changing continence pads
  • Provide lifting and hoisting support (essential)
  • Escort to events and outings
  • Support during social and leisure activities
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working with individuals who have physical disabilities and additional needs
  • Experience with lifting and hoisting equipment (essential)
  • Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Hours and Availability

Two PAs working alternate Saturdays: 8 hours per alternate Saturday. Additional hours may be required during school holidays and some weekday evenings. Exact working times will be discussed at the interview stage. A car driver is preferred for this role.
