The College is seeking to engage a Lower Brass Teacher on a casual basis. The successful candidate should be able to teach Lower Brass to students in a way that will bring out the best in their abilities through identifying areas for development and implementing appropriate strategies to release their full potential.
- plan and prepare engaging individual Lower Brass lessons
- teach and deliver music sessions and activities, ensuring effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress
- provide feedback and give advice on student performance and skills
- prepare students for performances, examinations and auditions, as appropriate
- communicate with teachers and other staff, as well as students and parents, as appropriate
- act as a role model, gaining the trust and respect of the people you work with
You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.
