Applications

The College is seeking to engage a Lower Brass Teacher on a casual basis. The successful candidate should be able to teach Lower Brass to students in a way that will bring out the best in their abilities through identifying areas for development and implementing appropriate strategies to release their full potential.

The preferred candidate will be expected to:
  • plan and prepare engaging individual Lower Brass lessons
  • teach and deliver music sessions and activities, ensuring effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress
  • provide feedback and give advice on student performance and skills
  • prepare students for performances, examinations and auditions, as appropriate
  • communicate with teachers and other staff, as well as students and parents, as appropriate
  • act as a role model, gaining the trust and respect of the people you work with

You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.

You will need to provide a Working With Children Check clearance.
