• IOSH certification is beneficial but not required.
• Transport Manager CPC is beneficial but not required.

Job description

Transport Supervisor – Farnborough, GU14 6JF – Permanent

Working hours: 45 hours per week (9 hours per day). Predominantly 5am to 2pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover the 10am to 7pm shift and other times as required by business needs.

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK, supplying iconic beers and soft drinks such as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, Wainwright, J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence and the Pepsi portfolio (Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea, Rockstar Energy). The business operates across 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depots serving customers nationwide.

About the Role

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Transport Supervisor will play a key part in our success journey and will be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all vehicles and drivers.
• Provide the skills required to deliver to customers on time and in full.
• Deliver high‑quality services that meet customer needs.
• Support distribution teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all site objectives are met without compromising health and safety.
• Prioritise health and safety in all processes.
• Oversee vehicle and crew departures in the morning or returns, depending on hours worked.
• Act as the point of contact for real‑time delivery issues for crews and communicate with customer services.

Experience and Key Attributes

• Experience supervising or leading people and processes within a transport or logistics network.
• Experience in transport compliance.
• Customer service orientation.
• IT literacy, including MS Office and SAP.
• Manual handling competence.
• Experience using Microlise Systems.
• IOSH certification beneficial but not required.
• Transport Manager CPC beneficial but not required.
