A leading flow control technology company located in Glasgow is seeking a Production Engineer to create systematic manufacturing processes and improve efficiency. You will work closely with operational teams to support production and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong lean manufacturing knowledge and experience in CNC and manual machining processes. This role as a Production Engineer will involve (but not limited to) planning and creating a systematic process for the manufacture of components based on customer requirements and standard times to ensure the most efficient method of manufacture and assembly. To create processes for method and cost to manufacture and test all assemblies and to ratify costs and methods when required. Providing support to the Operational team looking at more detailed SOP and routings and help alleviate problems on the shop floor. Looking at ways to improve current manufacturing methods and increase productivity by driving continuous improvement through manufacture.
