Job summary
A healthcare organization in Wakefield, UK, seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to support a dynamic sports medicine team. Responsibilities include providing clinical and surgical assistance, performing evaluations and treatments of orthopedic injuries, and communicating effectively with patients and medical staff. Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited PA program, hold NCCPA certification, and possess a valid Rhode Island license. - Order and interpret various lab studies.
- Consult with physicians and refer complex cases.
- Provide therapeutic treatments and perform procedures.
- Educate patients and families.
- Document patient encounters according to guidelines.
