Qualifications

  • Experience, built over 3+ years, of working in Reward.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex information into actionable insight.
  • Strong background using large data sets and software such as Excel.
  • Experience of delivering Reward and Benefits solutions that support business needs.
  • Sound understanding of UK legislation relating to Reward and Benefits.

  • Conduct job evaluations and set salary ranges in line with internal policies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivery to join our Reward team in the role of Reward Analyst. The successful applicant will support the Reward and Benefits teams to deliver our strategy to attract, retain, engage and motivate colleagues in line with our values. The Reward Analyst will play an important role during a period of Reward transformation. Supporting the introduction of a new Job Architecture, performing job grading and evaluations along with external benchmarking and market comparisons. They will also model and cost total reward packages, assessing the effectiveness of elements and making recommendations for change, as well as support annual pay review and bonus processes and transformational change.

Up to £55,000 (DOE)

Working Pattern

What you’ll do:
  • Job Architecture: Support the implementation of the new Job Architecture using the Willis Towers Watson methodology, including job evaluation, slotting, benchmarking, and stakeholder communications
  • Pay Review: Support the Reward Manager with negotiated and non-negotiated pay reviews, including market insight, data analysis, modelling, recommendations, and payroll implementation
  • Annual Bonus: Manage annual bonus calculations for c.1,500 employees, including data collection, bonus calculations, validation and working with payroll on processing
  • Salary Surveys: Complete job matching and annual salary surveys for Willis Towers Watson and Brightmine.
  • Job Evaluations & Benchmarking: Conduct job evaluations and set salary ranges in line with internal policies; act as a key contact for Recruitment and People Partners
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance with pay-related regulations and reporting, including EU Pay Transparency, Gender Pay, and pay equity regulations
  • Gender Pay Analysis: Lead analysis of UK and ROI Gender Pay and Bonus gaps and support report production
  • Reward Analysis: Conduct market and competition analysis. Conduct modelling for business change activity impacting Reward.
  • Stakeholder Support: Share Reward expertise, promote compensation policies, and collaborate across Gist and M&S to support business objectives.
  • Benefits: Support benefits analysis as required.
